I think the title makes a good point. We fall into the trap of believing that if we are busy we must be doing the right things; we must be successful. But how often are we up to our armpits in alligators and still feel lost, empty and wanting.

It comes down to quality over quantity in our everyday. There needs to be a paradigm shift in the "bigger, faster, better" way society has convinced us into thinking. Instead of striving to increase (mass) production our nations need to get back to basics. Yes, we have better sciences, products, material possessions but at what cost?

I have been working on living in the moment for the past 20 years - started with the book "Excuse me your life is waiting for you" - and it has been a wonderful journey. It has brought me to my realization that I need to get our of my cubicle and teach young adults the power of money over time - but more importantly this concept of living richer not fuller --- it is about being well rounded, thoughtful decisions, enjoying now while being responsible for your future.
