Touch Me, I'm Karen Taylor
Touch Me, I'm Karen Taylor is a new comedy show on BBC Three. Very funny - and at last a sketch show that does not rely almost exclusively on catchphrases (remember Little Miss Jocelyn? 'It's going to take a looong time').
Best bit in episode 1: Cash Cow, the late-night quiz show.
Best bit in episode 2 (or so I've heard, as I've yet to watch last night's recording): Glamorama, a WAG-hosted current affairs/politics programme.

I agree. Good stuff. Although I'm a little uncomfortable about the teacher and do wonder what the BBC is thinking about there. I can't help getting all reactionary and wondering what would have happened if the genders in this sketch had been reversed.

You know what? I felt the same. And I thought the randy teacher sketch was the weakest one. And I also thought of the Little Britain sketch with the teacher and Samantha (only both were consenting adults).
Jon, you have a point. I can't imagine the level of outrage if the genders were reversed. Double standards indeed.

Up until tonight I have found this programme highly funny. I am watching an episode as we speak and I am disgusted at the sketch with the little girl sitting on her bed praying about her Dad who has died. I think this scene is totally uncalled for.

Yeah… The teacher one is not funny. But isn't Glamorama brilliant!?
