Thank you for the recommendations Mike.

I'm already a big fan of The Arcade Fire (No Cars Go has been on my gym playlist since the album came out last month) and LCD Soundsystem (I run to their track 45:33 which they did for Nike +, but I am still warming up to Sound of Silver).

They are #32 and #15 in last week's chart respectively, both sliding down a few places.

I seem to have gone the other way. Five years ago, I only listened to indie music, and there were virtually no female vocalists in my collection. Then I met a boyfriend whose tastes were similar to mine, but just that bit 'gayer', and I started making compilation CDs for him, searching for music I knew he'd like. And I discovered I liked it, too.

I haven't quite gone the whole Kylie, Girls Aloud route, but my last.fm profile shows that of my top ten artists, six are female (or are groups with female vocalists) and the male ones are all gay, apart from one, whose sexuality is somewhat ambiguous.

But Eurovision? No. Not yet.

never too late.
about last.fm, i think it's one of the greatest sites for people who actually love music; it could seem useless, but it's a smart thing. i discovered after some weeks that i can listen to a Radio baed on my tastes.

nothing new right?
well, i can do it everyywhere, from every computer i am using.
i always use it when we're out with friends and we can't listen to anything because we don't have our music with us.

è davvero geniale!
