Just a stick of some sort of mineral, extremely effective, no residue at all, and the only deodorant I've ever tried that does not make my armpits explode in a rash of nasty spots. It also is very good value for money, between 3 and 4 pounds and it lasts for years. I usually end up dropping it the sink and shattering it before it is used up at all. Ah, forgot to mention that I use a 'Pit Rock' deodorant.
