Blogging makes me fat
I have posted every single working day since for almost three weeks now (whoo-hoo): I had decided to make it a priority for a short while, just to see if and how I would cope with it. I took up writing in the slot I usually dedicated to going to the gym, that is either before going to work or during my lunch break.
Then I worked the whole of last weekend to be able to switch platforms and launch a redesign of this website on Monday morning, only taking breaks to be force-fed large meals (with very little resistance on my part) and to perform a couple of bodily functions. By the way, it is now evident that I am very much at ease at my in-laws, as for the first time I did not stray from my regular daily morning 'number two' routine just because I was nowhere near my own toilet.
And then last night I rushed home as soon as I noticed that Bitful got bollocked by a spam comment that had been left on one of the old posts, which made good old Movable Type republish the index page, thereby overwriting the redesign. I grabbed a cheap and cheerful selection of carbs on the way home and scoffed it while removing all things related to the old design from the live server.
Yesterday morning the bathroom scales, no matter how gently I tried to lower my weight on them from holding on to the towel rack in front of me, went over 14 stone for the first time in possibly over a year. I am not particularly bothered, but the heavier and the more unfit I am, the louder I snore and Dr B. can assure you that it ain't pretty - and neither is his face when he has hardly slept because of my midnight concertos.
Soon obese - and single. Yay…

Yes, but look at the lovely new redesign.
Surely that was worth a slightly loosened beltline?

How very 2.0 dahling!!
Is the pink for October only? Hope not, it works well.
Anyway, more importantly I don't think 14st is all that bad.. but then I'm a good couple of stone heavier than that, and my snoring hasn't scared the wife off, yet…
