One of my Christmas cards was delivered yesterday. The absurdity of it all is that it's the one that was meant to travel the shortest distance (addressee's flat is ten minutes away on foot).

It was marked "Missent to Guyana". No other explanation or apology.

I'd sent it to my friend Guy. See? 'Guy' / 'Guyana - an easy mistake that anyone would make, surely.
