One of Dr B.'s mates has put the whole gang on the guest list for Shaun & Joe tonight. This particular mate is well known for getting thrown out of almost all the venues we went to. Last time the reason was "wearing the venue's soft furnishings".
I fear I might not have heard very well. Guest- or blacklist?

So what did you think about the place? I thought it was just plain awful. We had to crawl around in the dark cloakroom to find our own jackets and bags since they were so unorganized

I'd tell you what I thought about it - if I could remember a thing. I am told I danced a lot and refused to leave when Dr B. went home. I also have a new name and number in my mobile phone address book, and have no idea how it got there.
Well at least the G&T's were strong (at seven quid each, it's only fair).
