maps

The countries in red are those I've ever set foot into. Not a lot, I know, but have you ever been to Liechtenstein? I crossed it. Walked through it. Took me a whole afternoon.

World map with all the countries I have been to

Of course I have not been to Alaska; there simply was no option for "New York + Atlantic City + Boston + Philly".

Clicking on a few post-imperialist countries allowed me to scatter a handful of red specks across the oceans - not as bad as a Victorian JavaScript that would have turned the whole map red just by clicking on the UK.

My own map is a little underpopulated. 16 countries. Only 7% of the world. I was doing really well at one stage, but I keep gong back to the same countries again and again.

So many 'red' maps about at the moment. It reminds me of my school days. 'Empire Day' and all that crap.
