On Sunday night I packed the weekend papers and my job search material into a bag and went to see Dr B., planning to spend a quiet evening in, reading and updating my job search notebook for an interview at the Job Centre that I'm going to today, where I'll have to give evidence that I've actively been seeking work.

This morning at 7 I took out a week's worth of paper, plastic, glass, cans and tins to be recycled, only to find out that the recycling truck had come much earlier than usual, so I took everything back into the flat.

I then spent half an hour looking everywhere for my job search material, until I found it in a newspaper, in the recycling bag that I had taken out this morning.

Someone is watching over me.
