I am hopeless at remembering figures. I am probably borderline number dyslexic, and the larger the figures, the smaller my chance to keep them in mind are.

This is why all throughout the month of June I have been fascinated by Capital Numbers, Diamond Geezer's a one-a-day collection of facts and links about the figures that make up London, from one to thirty.

On a few occasions I have used those facts to impress friends, and for once it was easy to remember the figure - I just had to look at the current date to share the latest London trivia such as "Did you know that one in six of Britain's workforce works in London, and that 27% of the population of London were not born in the UK and that only 29 people have completed every single London marathon from 1981 to 2003? Didya? Eh?"

All those entries are now conveniently collected together in their own website (with a few bonuses and facts on some numbers over 30).
