The unexpected educational side derived from finding out that the nursery rhyme is "Solomon Grundy" and not Gundie as Amanda my English teacher taught me in 1980. I have not heard the song since, but - did you have any doubts about it? - my internal juke-box still enables me to hum the tune after all those years.
