Blondie have got a new album out later this year (and they are touring the UK in November). Surely by now "The Curse Of Blondie" must have leaked on Kazaa? Nope. Nothing, not even the first single Good Boys (which is praised by Popbitch, especially the Giorgio Moroder remix, and is scheduled to be released on Sept. 15th). Not even a very low quality sneakily taped snippet from the Jonas Akerlund-directed video shoot in L.A.
Has anyone heard this? I'm incredibly curious. Any news, anyone? David? I cannot believe so little interest. I had to console myself with a thirty-second extract of Ms Harry's collaboration with Italian expats Blow-Up here.

Come to Brum instead! (Or as well.) They're playing the Academy, which is undoubtedly the perfect venue for them; 'middle sized' but small enough to get up close and personal. I quite fancy it myself AND it's on a Saturday (15/11), so you'd be very welcome to stay over AND you could still get back in time for RVT Sunday!

Oh, just realised, the 'saving money' argument doesn't really apply here, does it? The Brum gig is still a hefty £27.50, plus your train fare, but the offer's there….
