Oh, the wonders of the human mind. The weirdness of mine, at least. I have just downloaded Frances Ruffelle's Lonely Symphony (We Will Be Free) - the UK entry for the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest. I had not listened to it since 1994 or early 1995 at the latest - I had videod the contest at the time, and played the tape over and over for a few months.
Listening to the song eight years later, I still expect the pitch to go dramatically low and then ultra high, for about half a second at a specific point mid-song - I suppose something had gone wrong while taping it. Amazing. Is there any way to free some memory space of old, useless details like this to make room for more important recent data such as, I don't know, my home phone number for instance?

Every time I hear The Winner Takes It All, I expect it to jump in the second verse like my old LP did. Damn my bother and his cigarettes, I tell you.
