Coincidence: the occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection (Merriam-Webster online dictionary).

Like, for example, reading somewhere that the Mr Hoist 2003 won the International Mr. Leather Contest in Chicago last weekend - then cleaning up your IE bookmarks before migrating them to Mozilla and realizing that the John in John's Guide to London's Leather, Bear & SM Scene that you've been looking up regularly is in fact the very same International Mr Leather John.

I hope that does not mean that Mr John and me are meant to be together - I did not even vote for him at the contest (and that was the only time I've ever been to the Hoist - there you go, another coincidence).
