I often get pop-up windows (most likely generated by Kazaa) that have some sort of relation to the Google search I am doing. So, if I look for information on Body Mass Index, I get a pop-up trying to get me to buy diet pills. If I look for smut, the pop-up sells me Viagra.
If I put the word "gay" in the search box, I get credit card adverts more often than not. What kind of stereotype regarding homosexualists is that supposed to be based upon? I know
plenty quite a few two gay men who are debt free, responsible professionals with pension plans, who live sparingly and save up for a rainy day.
And then there's my flatmate who's just forked out 300 pounds on a yearly
Shadow Lounge membership just so that he can have his birthday party there.
