I followed a link from Groc and took the BBC online national IQ test. The result was 34 points higher than what I'd estimated it to be (I had been tested twice before, and both times I had scored high, but that was in my early twenties, and I'd taken the test in my native language).

Lessons to be learnt:

1. fifteen years on, my old brain cells still connect if I want them to;
2. maybe if I stopped underestimating myself I would not be unemployed; and
3. these tests are obviously a load of crap.
