I've said it before, and now I am absolutely convinced that Madonna's records contain a subliminal message that, if played backwards, hypnotizes you into believing that what you are listening to is rather good and not the crap you thought it was at first.

Only this can explain why I've downloaded American Life (the single) on Wednesday, listened to it a few times, thought it was one of the worst songs ever produced, and now I'm humming it constantly. Will also probably mouth all the words (gangsta rap included) next time they play it somewhere public.
