So please meet Dave – it has been a pleasure to discover and read his weblog, and an early Christmas present in itself, for I do not think that I would ever have come across his website, had the elves not matched our names on Dec. 10th.

Thanks ever so. I've been thinking of buying that book for the last two years but I never quite got round to it. Lord knows how long it will take me to get through all 848 pages! If our paths should ever cross you'll recognise me as the one boring everyone to death with bits of London trivia. :) Hope your Christmas is going well.
