This week definitely seems to have a South African flavour to it: after the lovely twenty-four hours spent with a lekker SA man on Saturday and Sunday (and no, I have not photocopied dozens of picture of myself dressed as Zorro Amlie-style with my phone number to be posted in his neighbourhood), I have twice used public computers that revealed SA news websites under the screensaver, I have learnt some SA slang courtesy of Swish Cottage, and I've just now read David's memoirs on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of his move to SA.
I love learning something new about countries I do not know. I find it extremely fascinating. I wish I could spend all my time doing just that.
