Priceless moment on tonight's Popstars: the Rivals: Geri Halliwell (who, by the way, this time managed not to complete one single sentence so that it made some sort of sense) shifting in her chair while blabbering away and letting out this embarassingly loud farting noise (it must have been leatherette sliding across leatherette - we all hope).

My favourite Geri moment this week was when she looked earnestly at the contestants and announced, "They're all human beings, you know, and this is show business." What?? Oh, and I hope you've seen the "Cheeky Girls" video? Truly, truly dreadful.

I just remembered: did I hear it right when Geri told one of the contestant (Jamie I think) "you know, I think, like, uhm, that I can see you going the Steven Gately way"? (cue audience shuffle in discomfort at the implications). No, I haven't seen the "Cheeky Girls" video yet. And, well, I voted for Mikey. Again. I suppose I am quite partial to ink.

Yes, it really does seem as if Geri has been employed to offer absolutely no opinions whatsoever. She should have a sign on her head which says, "Like me. Please, please, like me. I'm really nice."
