What's wrong with weather in this country?
Now, don't get me wrong, I am absolutely delighted to be back in the UK, a country where even the smallest task can get become a feat of titanic proportions.
All I needed whas a pint of milk, and possibly not getting wet, but it's been raining intermittently all day. So, out of boredom basically (gissa job - now!), I started timing the frequency of those sunny spells/contractions and figured out I had about 6 minutes in between showers to rush to the corner shop and back. So I did - and of course it rained on my way home. Why can't good ol' Britain just get on with it and have its long-overdue baby Summer? I volunteer to perform the caesarian section if needed.
